Do you ever wake up and feel so bloated?

At this time of year, I always notice even more, for obvious reasons… Recently, however, I have created a few simple ways to help myself empty quickly so that it does not disturb my day (or mood).

First, I think it’s important for you to know bloating is normal.

Buuuut, just because it’s normal doesn’t mean we have to be okay with it.

It can be insanely annoying and it can even be a sign of food intolerance or IBS like me.

Why we swell

Flatulence can also only be the result of eating more outdoors (lots of salt!), Consuming more carbohydrates (breads, cakes, pasta, biscuits) or drinking more alcohol (wine right?).

Yes. Yes. & Yes. for me.

Carbohydrates are key, they give us energy, but at this time of year it is definitely a lot more than normal and a lot of foods that are not in my normal diet.

Carbohydrates are stored in your body as glycogen and glycogen LOVES the accumulation of water.

Excess water retention = bloated abdomen.

What I do every day to inflate

I’m increasing my water intake.

I know it sounds fun to drink more water when you hold back water, but it’s the best way to flush out excess water. At this time of year, I target 1 gallon a day. To make it easier, I’ll mix in one scoop of my Wing Woman Immunity Boost. The taste of berry pom is delicious + all the benefits.

In the morning I drink celery juice on an empty stomach.

This will always help me a lot. Celery juice is full of nutrients and drinking it on an empty stomach helps your body get all the goodies faster. It’s also super moisturizing and I’ve personally noticed that it helps get things moving … which can also reduce bloating.

I make a Berry Apple Cider every day

Sometimes in the morning, sometimes as an afternoon drink, but it works anyway. This recipe is in your Holiday Survival Guide & Recipe Book btw….

Apple cider vinegar helps with digestion, which can reduce bloating. ACV alone is the equivalent of your aunt’s green bean casserole (No.) Vitamins C and D, both found in Wing Woman, also play a role in promoting healthy digestion. Mix them together and it’s really a heavenly match, especially when you enjoy it every day.
